November 28, 2023 - Ticks all the right boxes; plums and leather supported by melting tannins, developing dark chocolate. Beautifully structured and really delicious. CHP 89 pts

October 2, 2022 - Tasted from magnum: very good balance between primary, secondary and tertiary notes right now, good tannin structure still showing, good length

April 3, 2021 - In its prime now, soft tannins, round mouthfeel, so powerful yet so easy drinking. Rich berry smells - boysenberry and blueberry - and ground on the nose, followed by flavors of berries, clove, minerals, white pepper, and a nice long lingering taste. Went well tonight with hearty cow and goats milk cheeses following the main course. My wife kept drinking it while enjoying some medium dark chocolate. 13.5% alcohol, very nice. Would buy more if Kermit Lynch would offer this vintage.
