September 14, 2022 - Bottle opened (but not poured into a decanter) 1 hour before serving. A very enjoyable Barbera. Notes of cherries, leather, earth, and oak, with sufficient grip to pair well with Calamari Fra Diavolo.

June 14, 2020 - Deep ruby Color. Cherries and smoke on the nose, quite some alcohol as well. Med+ acidity, full body, high alcohol, Med+ tannins (a bit too dry), Med flavor intensity, Med finish. A bit too much alcohol overwhelming the fruit so I find this an under performer, definitely below what this grower can produce. Maybe this will be better in a couple of years ?
