August 7, 2023 - Disappointing. Nothing wrong with it, just not outstanding

May 21, 2023 - Double-decanted for about 2 hours. Medium ruby color. Lots of black fruit on the nose. Other notes of gravel, graphite, cigar box, some menthol, and anise. Rich, bold, and lively on the palate. Cassis, tart black cherry, and blackberries with leather, tobacco, and espresso on the mid palate. Long earthy, salinic finish with traces of black fruit. Fresh acidity, and soft tannins with some grip. Nice balance and structure, but not quite the same depth of other Pauillacs.

April 1, 2023 - On the nose- Big dark berries, blackberries, dark blueberries, cassis, plums, brambly dark berries, dark cherries, violets, dark flowers, wild herbs, baking spices.

On the palate- Big dark berries and blackberries, dark blueberries and cassis, plums and brambly dark berries, dark cherries and violets, dark flowers and wild herbs with a hint of baking spices. This wine is drinking KILLER young but needs about an hour of decant time to really start to open up and show is stuff. I see this being able to age another 7-10 years plus with no real problem at all.

December 4, 2022 - Good value easy wine which is good for daily deinking
