February 9, 2021 - Wonderful Brunello, from a great year, dark purple, cherry, plum, forward fruit, hints of tar and herbs, delicious, integrated tannins, long finish

January 31, 2021 - Very bright, acidic, tannic, fruit forward, not a lot of depth. Was not impressed.

January 23, 2021 - Drank after 3 hours in the decanter. At first it was quite fruit-forward, but opened to be a very balanced combination of fruit, acid, and tannins. The nose has plums, cherries, a bit of raisin with some herbal notes. The palate has sour cherry, pomegranate, mushroom, and a hint of smoke. The wine has a medium body. This goes wonderfully with food. This is a vinous marshmallow problem: drink it now or wait to see what it will become! Alcohol 14.5%

January 1, 2021 - Decanted and enjoyed with grilled NY strips - too young to drink in my opinion (although it's still very nice with a 2-3 hour decant) as this started tight and opened up with lots of air. Notes after 30 minutes in decanter. Light red color with brownish tinge. On nose, sweet/sour cherry with mushrooms, rosemary and red licorice. On palate, sweet/sour cherry with soy and herbal notes. Medium body, medium+ acidity, medium tannins and long finish. 92+ today with room for improvement with bottle age. [Drank beautifully on night 2 as well].

December 29, 2020 - Half bottle decant 2 hrs, expressive young cherry, tobacco leave and cedar. Medium light body, a bit hollow in mid palate, finish with firm tanning grip. The other half can stand on Day 2. High score for such price ratio.
