Community Tasting Notes 8

October 15, 2018 - Doran's. Pithy with gunpowder notes, very dry with good minerality.

April 16, 2018 - This is a tough one to write a review on - there are so many different versions of this particular wine in the potential categories - it seems that each reviewer has a slightly different take on the name so instead of being one or two there is like 5 different versions of this that should probably all be consolidated. In any event I couldn't find 2011 in any of the categories so here goes:

Lemon and stone fruit with a big streak of minerality running right through the center of this glass. Its almost like you are drinking a wine with a stone swizzle stick adding extra flavor. Its nice but I think this wine still needs a little more time. I have had older Muscadets and they were a little more rounded that this one is at present. Still, a very nice glass of wine that paired well with a nice piece of Halibut.

    September 11, 2015 - Nice fresh Muscadet

July 19, 2015 - Nicer than the Pierre Guindon and a pretty good Muscadet if you like these wines this will be a good one to try.
