March 6, 2023 - Quite nice.
More intensive than the 2011 Poderi di Colla and 2008 Sordo, this is simply thicker, tastier, fuller juice. Taste led by coffee and ripe plum.
Bit of animality.
A well made, pleasant, fun wine but no trace of greatness.
Aftertaste could be longer.
Costs 30 EUR - at 20 it would be in its place. -

December 5, 2022 - A year or so ago it seemed closed, now it’s in a good spot - but will improve with more time, or perhaps a decant. Liquorice notable on the palate, tannins have softened but still present. Have definitely had better but still enjoyable.

December 5, 2020 - Tasty dark cherry, tar, and herbal notes on the nose and palate with youthful tannins on the moderate finish. An enjoyable early drinking Barolo.

April 19, 2020 - Not a great year in Barolo , but a very nice wine. A wine to drink now and the next 5 years.
I read it is 25% Cast. Fall and the rest from Serralunga....you can taste the licorice and the masculine type. Spice and the Barolo elements is present. Good solid Barolo.
