November 30, 2023 - one of the best carignano del sulcis in my opinion, and probably #1. In any case the best red wine from Capichera. Juicy and jummy, fruity, with hints of spices in the background, in a top vintage for Sardegna. Complex, elegant and mouthfilling. BTW, still youthful. Alone in my baloon at night driving my thoughts high. Big

April 6, 2018 - Tasted at VIA course in Verona. Medium (+) to deep ruby, with a hint of garnet on the rim. The nose is clean, medium (+) in intensity, with ripe red fruit, plums, blue fruit and a little bit of flinty smoke. The palate is dry, but fruit forward, consistent with the nose. Medium acidity, medium (+) tannins and medium (+) to high alcohol. Overall, this is a complex, full-bodied but elegant wine, with medium (+) flavor intensity and length, Really nice; worth seeking out.
