February 18, 2023 - Intensely dark in color. Dark fruit bouquet. Hint of spice. Smooth with a long finish.

December 1, 2021 - Not sure about several of these reviews. As a cert somm, i can firmly say this wine is among the best Cab Francs i have tasted from California. It is in a nearly perfect spot right now, and should drink well for about 3-4 more years. A lot of violet/strawberry perfume on the noise. Silky palate, with darker fruits emerging. cracked white pepper and baking spices. This is textbook and worth seeking out.

May 16, 2020 - I've had these over several years. Multitude of ways to coax it out. Double-decants, consumed over several days, etc. Just never seems to materialize into it's price point.

June 21, 2019 - Not a big cab franc fan. This is one of the more balanced I've tasted.

Black pepper, wood notes, cedar, black fruit. B+/A- (89-90)

March 16, 2019 - Deep ruby red. Rich nose with layers of cassis, black fruits, anise and black cranberries. Medium plus tannins (7.5/10) and medium plus bodied. Lots of grittiness and gravel on the palate with some black cherries and black fruits. Dry and long finish. Drink till 2030.

Made up of 92% Cabernet Franc and 8% Cabernet Sauvignon. Aged for 19 months in 85% new French oak. Only 285 cases produced.
