April 8, 2023 - Absolutely delicious, seductive from the moment the cork was pulled. Deeply colored with a satiny texture and an incredible nose centered on fragrant baked plums (I’m reminded of The NY Times plum torte recipe), scented geranium, garrigue. Easy to find volets, bacon fat, creosote if you hunt a little in this incredible complex nose. Rich and palate-staining, tart yet ripe, hint of cocoa in the mid palate, very long finish.

July 8, 2022 - P&P. Flavors of plum, black cherry, dark chocolate and hints of scorched earth. Delicious juice! Drink now - 2029.

September 20, 2019 - September 2018 in Walla Walla; 9/19/2019-9/22/2019 (Walla Walla, Washington): Bright Ruby color. Dark fruits and violet aromas. Dark cherries, medium tannins and a medium-long acidic finish. Les Collines and Seven Hills Vineyards primarily.

September 1, 2019 - A very good Northern Rhone style reserve Syrah. Plum and dark fruits, along with hints of vanilla, were all harmoniously tied together within this rich a delicious wine. It is certainly young, but has the acid and tannins to give it the strength to age for at least another decade... maybe two.
