  November 14, 2022 - During a BdB Champagne blind tasting dinner. Very rich wine, tons of toasted oak and butter on the nose, rich palate, enough acidity to support it. Good but as far away as linear Mesnil usually is.

  Notes from 24 hrs open, in the fridge overnight. On the nose: lemon, vanilla cream, soft marzipan, and loads of Mesnil chalk. On the palate: stunning acidity, altogether more well-put-together; grapefruit, loads of chalk and wet stone, lemon oil and a kiss of vanilla. Juicy and vibrant finish. This needs a **lot** of time if this btl is representative.
