Community Tasting Notes 4

August 15, 2023 - Oily consistence, less sweet than e.g. Lafaurie-Peyraguey. Darker style of Sauternes, voluminous, long finish. Best on day 3 and 4. Very good now , but will improve further, 92+.

November 23, 2022 - Brief impressions only. This showed nice, bright yellow fruits and spices on the nose and palate. The sweetness/acidity balance is quite good and while not weightless, the wine has no excess weight, is not cloying in any form. A bit on the simpler side, probably, and not very well delineated but still lots of fun to drink

August 26, 2021 - Layers of lusciously textured, ripe and overripe, tropical fruits, honeysuckle, candied orange and honey paired with ripping acidity giving you lift and sweet treats galore.

September 13, 2020 - I didn't enjoy this quite as much as other vintages; deep, round flavours and generous mouthfeel, but finished on a slightly sour note. That said, I'm looking forward to seeing how my other bottles develop.
