Community Tasting Notes 1

December 30, 2018 - Deep ruby with orange at the edges. Aromas were earthy, with oak, tobacco, and tar coming through. This wine was full-bodied with medium-low acidity and tannins that stuck around on the tongue. This wine was not fruity and had lots of legs, with graphite and sawdust on the palate. This Bordeaux-style (plus Syrah) blend was enjoyable but isn't one I'd seek out unless it was on sale.
