February 22, 2024 - Luscious! Deep dark garnet color. Nose Cedar, dark cherries, dark fruit. Wonderful with red gravy pasta sauce and meatballs, make sure to have buttered baguette!! And then with dark chocolate/ salted caramel dark chocolate! Wowza!

May 4, 2023 - Solid Zinfandel, beautiful inky purple with elegant structure, smooth and easy on the palate. Medium length. I believe this is now at the top of its quality curve, no need to wait any longer to drink. Side project from wine maker Erhan Jordan of Failla (CA, OR), talented winemaker who shares a lot of information about the wine making process if that is your thing check it out and maybe subscribe to his newsletter. Fruit is (I think) from El Diablo vineyard located at the northern end of the Russian River valley AVA.
A bit more acidity on day 2, dark fruit, vanilla, cedar, touch of anise.
