October 24, 2020 - Opened for cab franc wine tasting. Fabulous find. Has a strong but pleasant barnyard notes. Smells of red and black fruits, green pepper. Not to everyone’s taste because of the brett smell and taste but I loved it.

That difficulty showed on younger bottles, and apparently, I didn’t feel the need to write up other openings following the initial bottle since this is my last bottle of the stuff, but only my second note on this cuvée. Very delicate fruit on the attack of fromboise, strawberry and a touch of cream, but it’s short-lived. However, we didn’t detect any bitter anise on the finish. The mouthfeel is thin. 13% alc. With cheeses, including a soft goat cheese. Enjoyed while sitting on the balcony on my return from sitting with Von for the last time. We reminisce about him, enjoyed the fresh look of the cleaned balcony, and anticipate our future at the Harper-Miller house. 09.19.20. Recommended.

August 21, 2020 - Going thru the cellar and finding some forgotten roses from a few years ago. Found that this didn't improve with a bit of age nor did it worsen. Prefer the raffault rose if we had to choose Cabernet franc roses.
Pretty damn good with gorgonzola turkey burgers.
