  December 27, 2023 - Every few years the Boushey vineyard yields a fantastic syrah, and this one qualifies. Possibly better than my last bottle 18 months ago and should go a few more years with ease. Full bodied with generous red and blue fruit and well integrated tannins. Spice and smoke mid pallet with a somewhat muted yet building finish (which cost it a few points).

  March 1, 2022 - Big, juicy, and bursting with bright and dusty red fruit. An expressive wine that brings joy and wants to be paired with an exciting dish. Enough backbone to carry through now and probably for another 3-5 yrs. Warm baking spice mid pallet and onto the finish which builds for nearly a minute.

  March 19, 2021 - Maybe it’s my mood, palate, or whatever, but i get the impression that this might be passed its prime. My remaining bottle will need to exercise patience before before being released from its chamber.

  October 1, 2018 - This is already very showy, and will likely reveal additional secondary flavors after a couple of years in the bottle.
