May 15, 2023 - Slow ox for an hour plus and consumed over the following three hours. Subtle notes of candied apple and violets on the nose. Nicely structured, balanced and resolved. Red licorice, cranberry, some blue fruits, cedar/oak, white pepper, cocoa and tobacco flavors delivered on a polished, silky body. Focused texture revealing a soft, moderately long finish. Consistent quality for 2014 Napa cabs. So enjoyable!
