July 16, 2020 - Prior bottle was eight months ago and this wine remains in a very good spot. Strawberry, some light red cherry as well as watermelon notes on on the nose. Light of medium bodied with a very similar flavor profile to my prior bottle: a mix of red cherry and lighter, brighter strawberry upfront and through the mid-body. Tart strawberry and lighter watermelon notes on the backside along with pleasantly balanced acidity. The combination of the rounded, but still expressive fruit and the defining acidity made for a very enjoyable bottle. As long as the acidity continues to hold up in this fashion, the wine will continue to hold this level.

June 1, 2020 - Caveat: I am a sucker for Rose of Pinot Noir, since I was around at the beginning of the WHite ZInfandel craze and found RoPN to be a pleasant (and drinkable) alternate.
That being said, this is really nice juice. Way too easy to go through a glass or three, but did stand up decently to soft shell crabs. Finish not sharply delineated, other than that a fine effort.

November 23, 2019 - Prior bottle a bit over forth months ago and this wine continues to improve. Lots more red cherry on the nose nose; really aromatic overall and a mix of red cherry and strawberry. Light bodied, but really close to medium and showed very good density for a rose, especially from 2017. Cherry both upfront and through the middle, showing both upfront brightness and nice depth of fruit through the middle. Adds tart strawberry and just hints of watermelon now towards the back. The contrast between the red cherry mid and the tart strawberry back, combined with the acidity based structure made this wine really enjoyable. I continue to believe this wine will show well through 2021, but based on how well this bottle in particular showed, I would drink them through year-end 2020 to get them at their peak. Next bottle for me will be June/July 2020.

July 14, 2019 - Previously tasted at the winery 13 months ago this my first from bottle and it has improved in that time. Watermelon, strawberry, cherry and floral notes on the nose. In between light and medium bodied and starts off with brighter strawberry, brings in rounder red cherry and then more tart watermelon on the backside. Good, but nicely balanced acidity on the backside works quite well, especially with the mid-body cherry notes. The wine seems better balanced than previously and the fruit felt more defined and more expressive. An impressive effort from a tough vintage. I'll open my next bottle in November 2019.

September 1, 2018 - Nice color. The nose is a bit tight, showing aromas of cherry, strawberry, citrus, minerals and herbs. This is light bodied on the palate with decent concentration but good class. The medium length finish features a mineral element and a hint of pepper.
