  August 12, 2022 - Bottle off the wine list over dinner at Little Italy. Polished off in 1.5 hours easily.
  Appearance is clear, pale intensity, ruby colour. Legs.
  Nose is clean, medium intensity, with lovely aromas of dusty crushed stones minerality, perfumed red flower, classic red cherry. Developing.
  On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium+ alcohol (14%), medium+ tannins, medium+ body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of perfectly ripe sour red cherries with wrap-around lively stones minerals, and suggestion of kirsch cherry, licorice and pomegranate. Medium finish.
  Very good quality Langhe Nebbiolo. So addictively sippable. Could age and develop over the next 5+ years also.

  October 1, 2019 - Excellent.
  Still too young in the bottle.
  Give it at least a day with the cork removed, or a day of decant.
  It's tight and typical Nebbiolo with lots of lovely flowers, tars, spices.
  It has energy and youth that will cut any strong dish. I think Vietnamese 5 spice chicken would be a really good compliment.
  There's rich cherry, a touch of brett, exotic spices and long finish that grips the palate with a dry coating of spicey citrus rind of orange and ripe meyer lemon.
  Don't drink before 2022 and explore the 15 year balance.
  
  Overdelivers for the price for sure. It's a cellar keeper for those nights of entertaining guests to show how an under $20 bottle can really deliver.

  Super beau vin, un fruit croquant et
  gourmand avec une belle acidité, c'est fin et complexe
  avec une belle longueur, pour le prix difficile
