March 7, 2022 - Nice attractive wine that opened to reveal a number of layers of flavours including botrytis richness, salty mineralisation, citrus fruit. Good food wine. enjoy now

February 2, 2022 - NobleRottersSydney - blind 17 Chard & 14 Shiraz (Fix, St James, Sydney): {cork?, 12.5%} Translucent in hue beside the previous wines. Less oaky. Clean nose, pure sandstone, minerals, with a hint of honey. Light/medium body, dry, still with sweet fruit, a bit earthy in texture. Medium length finish that just fades a little. Tidy, not that exciting. Not sure cellaring will help much. Definitely French (non-screwcap a big hint!); I stupidly guessed Mersault; maybe ill-considered in light of the minimal oak? Votes: two x 2nd (Glenn, Adrian)

December 14, 2021 - Light to medium yellow. Oyster shell, minerally, lemon, and pear aromatics. Full and round fruit entry and mid-palate. Quite rich extract for Chablis. Lemon, crisp finish and medium-long persistence. Will continue to evolve for 3+ years.
Made from 70 year old vines.

May 9, 2020 - Good balance of citrus fruit and minerality, which leans chalky. Sixty years old vines should surprise no one; dense with excellent persistence.

    April 11, 2020 - A little dilute.
