August 13, 2018 - Beautiful color & clarity. The most aromatic nose ever encountered in a KW PN (according to J. Swafford). Beautiful full palate with great complexity - dark, dark fruits, exotic flavors. Just lovely. Plenty of potential left. Holding my last bottle for at least a year.

January 5, 2018 - Slight brick in color. Light nose hinting at pretty fruit but leaning more towards tired. In the mouth burnt dark cherry fruit that tastes as though it were picked too ripe. Medium mid palate weight with medium length finish that ultimately falls flat. Punot fruit is there, lacks complexity and depth. Drink now. 13.5% abv. Tastes like more.

I want to love this wine but only like it due to lack of depth and complexity.

September 8, 2016 - Plastic cork. Drinking well as a PnP, exhibiting flavors of dry cherries, licorice, and peppery spices, the latter probably due to the elevated acidity. The finishes got hotter after 30 minutes. 13.5% ABV.

September 20, 2014 - A Pair of Ken Wright Mags: From magnum. P&P. Medium light color, wide clear rim. Deep, complex and nuanced aromatics highlight bright red fruit, spice and cola nut. Sweet and gentle on entry with red berry, black cherry and spice cake flavors. The texture is soft, sweet and velvety and finish is very long and nicely warm. A lovely example of the vintage. Drink now through 2016.
