Community Tasting Notes 1

  • Brad L wrote:

December 7, 2006 - Pale gold. Did not look like it had age. Nose - honeyed merde, matchstick, spark, hazelnuts, Comte. More or less repeating notes in mouth. Very nice wine, unexpected. Did diminish quickly with air - would optimally be drunk with a larger group as an aperitif with single glasses - after a couple of hours had lost much of the excitement of the initial opening. Still, cool wine. From vines planted in 1945 (per J L-L).
