March 4, 2023 - magnum. flat on the palate. Not a good bottle.

July 3, 2020 - A deep golden colour. The nose is intriguing, showing notes of Turkish delight, spent fireworks, apricot and lavender. The mid-palate is drying out a touch and it has a very salty finish.

December 22, 2019 - Difficult to guess given more advanced color and flavors. Not the precision you'd expect.

February 25, 2017 - DGs Birthday: Dark golden colour. Ginger, lemon, honey and iodine. The palate is medium bodied, with the acidity and fruit hanging on decently, while there are some caramel elements as well. Medium length. This is drinking well but certainly needs to be drunk.

September 20, 2016 - The colour of this bottle was deep with amber tinges but it drank well. There are notes of white mushroom, toast, burnt orange, apricot and tarte tatin. It is buttery in the mouth with some exotic flavours and plenty of savoury/tertiary traits. There's a sprinkling of salty/iodine on the finish.

December 2, 2015 - From magnum. While this bottle clearly didn't reach the depths of other reviews, it was quite golden and rounded. Citrus was more meyer lemon than anything else, and the wine lacked high quality precision on the palate. But that being said, it was still defined by reasonable structure and not the advanced and oxidative facets that others have noted. Format may be a factor

December 8, 2011 - Quite dark in color, and advanced on the nose. Huge sucrosity with brown sugar but this is too advanced. On the palate, this is quite icky.

November 3, 2011 - Blind Tasting 1983-2007 Chablis - Raveneau, Brocard & Dampt (Tom's House, Palo Alto, CA): Golden, darkest of the flight, clearly the '83. Really pretty nose of orange, honey and a touch of caramel. Light bodied with low acidity initially that picked up a little with time in the glass. No fruit left, but interesting oxidative flavors of nuts, nut butter and furniture wax. Very interesting but disappointing. Score might be generous for my palate, but the nose was lovely (my 5th, group's 6th - 3 first place votes, 1 last).

April 5, 2003 - Dark yellow. Wet stone, chalk on the nose. But seems a touch oxidized. Largely scaled and good wide structure, but perhaps lacking a bit of concentration.
