February 25, 2021 - Surprised at the body of this, definitely hefty, a bit sweeter than I remember, with notes of overripe apple, stewed lemons - I wish for a bit more acid though - it’s a great Chard but lacks the laser focus of some of my other favorites (Here’s looking at you VV Platt and MAXEM) -93+. On day 2 this was better and more concise, the acid came in lending balance. Lovely.

August 5, 2020 - One of the very best iterations of Four that I have enjoyed. Perfect harmony and structure with beautiful fruit and a great mouthfeel. Elegant yet full of flavor. Citrus cream, mineral notes, and a bit of a floral element. Fully integrated yet fresh and lively. Beautiful and impressive.

July 15, 2020 - This LF Chardonnay is drinking beautifully at this juncture. While other members of the LF line-up are at least accessible early on, I always thing the Four needs time to unfold and develop. My problem is that I often struggle to keep my hands off them. This is full of flavor, tropical notes and hints of minerality. Good acidity and elements of citrus. Well rounded and no harsh edges. It pleases the palate and offers great length.
