June 9, 2018 - World's Greatest, Hong Kong - Night III (8 1/2 Otto e Mezzo Bombana, Macau): This has a terrific bouquet as well that stands up to and then exceeds that on the Roumier. Vibrant, highly floral, and quite fruity. Ripe brambly blackberry. Perfumed. I’m generally a little tough on Leroy but this is excellent. On the palate this is delicate and soft but has real weight to the ripe and round berry fruit. Terrific. Outperforming the ‘96 Roumier Musigny on the palate. Red cherry cola note on the nose. Such big projection. Lush and dense. Humid and sexy. Incredible.

October 5, 2012 - Surprisingly this was nearing maturity and showed beautifully. A smokey nose led to incredibly pure fruit. Not hugely powerful, but perfectly balanced. Not a hair out of place. Velvety and spherical on the palate. A very complete wine that leaves you wanting for nothing.
