November 18, 2023 - This had 7+ hours of air and was singing and classic 50+ year-old Barolo with a focused aroma of black tea, balamic, old leather and dried florals. The palate was pure and crystalline with mature, refined tannins.

November 18, 2023 - Nebbiolos, white truffles, Volume VIII (Chicago, IL): Opened at 9:30, and put into a decanter at 12:30. Stunning. It's light, lithe, and elegant, with a pure, crystalline red-fruited character that works so well for nebbiolo. Delicate and filigreed, with mature tannins and the right amount of acid balance to the fruit. Silky texture, and among my favourites tonight.

August 24, 2023 - Excellent. Great acidity and it could use some more air than I gave it.

July 20, 2022 - Stunning....drank with Alex Sanchez and Elena Brovia from Brovia winery....so fresh and powerful.
