November 22, 2018 - Much better than the bottle I had last Thanksgiving. Golden color, orange peel and peach on the nose. The palate was peaches, apricots. some citrus peel and honey. The finish was moderate to long.

November 24, 2017 - It has been 6 years since I last tried a bottle and it was just not as spectacular as it was then. Light Caramel in color, the nose is peach flowers - the palate is pear, peaches, orange peel and a touch of honey. The finish was nice but I did get the faint taste of oxidation rearing its ugly head. Perhaps an off bottle. I hope so as I have a bunch more in the cellar.

December 29, 2014 - Sweet wine tasting (Le Petit Sommelier): Clear pale caramel color.
The nose is clean, showing med intensity, thyme and tea leaves, honey, apricot and peach jam, hints of toast with a few walnuts sprinkled on top, developed.
Sweet, full body and high intensity, medium alcohol (12%) and acidity, palate copying the nose, med+ finish.
Very good quality, drinking well now but I wouldn't keep it much longer.

    June 29, 2014 - Naso molto alcolico.
In bocca spicca l'arancio su tutti, lasciando il posto allo zucchero filato e alle mele caramellate. Molto buono. Ottima qualità prezzo.
Avrebbe meritato di più se non ci fosse stato un alcool così presente.

September 21, 2013 - Excellent dessert wine. Had already darkened to a golden/caramel color, nose of perfumey fruit, palate ripe with apricot and pear, predominately, then spices and cinnamon in the background, maybe a banana or two found their way in there, as well.
