  June 26, 2013 - 14.4% alcohol. Final bottle and still just cruising a long. Bright red color, with a few hints of bricking at the rim of the glass. A very cherry nose when it comes to the fruit, with mushrooms and earthy spice. In the mouth, vibrant, with tremendous acidity still lingering on the palate. A wonderful wine that is a testament to a different style of Zinfandel. A-/A

  February 28, 2010 - 14.4% alcohol. Just so pretty. Popped and poured, and going gangbusters from the get-go. It always amazes me how this wine can be so red-fruited and pure. It also ages phenomenally well. Cherry fruit, pronounced minerality, and earthy spice notes. Bright acidity on the palate and a solid, slightly tart finish. A-
