January 26, 2024 - 2016 is drinking VERY well. Fruit still coming through, perfectly balanced tannins and a great vanilla accent.

April 4, 2022 - Front label calls it 'Trailblazer Red', back label calls it 'Proprietary Red'. Nose of blackberry and plum, with a hint of violet. Entry shows bright acidity, quickly yielding to a plush mid-palate. Bright, sweet flavours of blackberry, pomegranate, and cranberry, finishing with smooth tannin and a touch of new leather. After decanting, it shows hints of prune and olive. Soft enough to be enjoyable on its own, but the fruit is strong enough to stand up to a heavy dish of roast lamb.
