April 11, 2023 - Much as per my Oct '22 note.
Drinking well now (with 2hr aerated decant) and another decade or so ahead of it at least with possibility of even higher score.

January 18, 2023 - No formal notes as drunk for pleasure. Forgot this one in the cupboard since purchased in 2019, when for €27 it still just about represented good value. I am broadly a fan of these wines, and this was spot on the traditional Rioja house style. Dusty red Tempranillo fruits, spice, a touch of earth but still not overly developed. Certainly can go on for many years more to develop more tertiary characteristics. Lovely drinking but I must admit I begin to question the QPR of these wines, with other Rioja producers continually improving.

January 17, 2023 - Red berries and cherries in the creamy bouquet. A touch of oak as well. Juicy red berries, a lot of acidity and slightly sticky tannin. Again this vintage does not really impress me. The wine is clean and fresh, but the acidity dominates too much. Possibly with more age on it, this wine will show more finesse...?
