Community Tasting Notes 5

July 29, 2020 - Non-distinguished Sancerre. Lacking in Sauvignon Blanc nose quality and light, inoffensive wine. Most Sancerres we have sampled have been much more enjoyable and characteristically Sauvignon Blanc in both nose and palate.

March 19, 2020 - Crisp, dry, juicy with nice apple and lemony fruit, not overly concentrated or with much character, but tasty.

May 31, 2019 - At a Loire Valley tasting, blind. The table had mostly whites, not surprising for Loire. This stood out to me among the Sancerre’s. Definitely Sauvignon Blanc on the nose and palate. Lots of acidity, citrus, grapefruit, definitely some spice. I thought a long finish, though another taster whom I respect had less kind things to say, especially about the finish. Well, she was wrong...

June 9, 2018 - Light green. Typical savignon nose. Crisp and clear. Great Sancerre.
