  August 25, 2010 - Northern Italian Whites and then Syrahs - Controversy in the tasting Group: This is available locally for $15 and that is a great QPR. Ruby in color, and the most transparent wine on the table. The nose had an odd pickling spice quality in addition to the black raspberries and leather notes. A bit of oak on the palate, but plenty of fruit too. Slick and juicy texture. Very nice showing.

  April 30, 2009 - Nose: Big red fruit. Heavy on the blackberry with coffee, brown sugar, forest floor and vanilla. Very nice nose. Taste: plum, cassis, orange zest, a little coffee and cloves. A smooth, well balanced wine with great QPR. A long finish with raspberries for days.
