Community Tasting Notes 2

December 12, 2006 - Bordeaux Tasting: Light golden color. Very satisfying nose, with apples, peaches, and lemons. Some body to this wine, and nice fruit on the palate. Finish is citrus. As it warmed, some minerality came through. A solid bottle for the price. 83-85

December 12, 2006 - 2005 Bordeaux Tasting with ExCellars (Specialty Imports): Bright green apple and a hint of stone fruit on the nose. The palate wasn't too crisp, with an almost creamy texture, with bosc pears, vanilla, and very soft acidity on the finish. I think I liked the '03 a little more. 82-84.
