  July 31, 2022 - Still plenty of life left in this. On the lighter, fruity side of syrah, or what might be expected from Edna Valley. Fairly bright fruit, with medium weight body and just a hint of barrel character. Good acid, making it food friendly.

  March 9, 2021 - Deep dark red center, red rim with some signs of age.
  Sweet, roast plums and briar,
  Smooth and a little sweet, vinous, black olives, a little brine, cherries and blackberries, pepper, polish, good acidity, modest tannins, great smooth fruity finish.
  Maturing wonderfully, great now, but good for another 3+ years.

  February 5, 2021 - Deep red center, red rim with some signs of age.
  Clay, figs, ripe plums, charred oak, chocolate and a little pepper.
  Smooth, stewed red fruit, cherries, some polished leather, a little peppery, oak, good acidity, some tannin, great long finish.
  Doing very well now, still good for another 3+ years.

  October 25, 2020 - Tons of black licorice as a PnP. Saline nose, black fruited, dusty gentle tannin with nice acidity. Hard to put it down.
