June 6, 2020 - I had a glass last night, didn’t care for it much, but knew from experience that it needed a bit of breathing. Today it was wonderful, expressive, chewy, integrated from entry to finish, and just a bit firm and assertive. Dark berry fruit, baking spice, and a touch of pine on the palette, grippy tannins and a long dry finish. I like this wine.

April 16, 2020 - My initial review wasn’t very favourable, but after giving it a really good long breathe session, the harsh woody tannins smoothed out, integrated really well, while leaving a pleasant amount of chew to the texture. Generous fruit on the entry tell me it’ll still have a bit of that left in a year or so. This will develop really nicely in the bottle for at least another few years. I’ll hold the rest of my stock until then.
