July 8, 2022 - I usually enjoy this blend from Force Majeure much more. But on a blind tasting, this wine seemed seemingly acidic and out of balance. I'm giving it a 91 score, since after 2 hours it evened out and became very enjoyable. My next bottle is going to have to be decanted!

October 22, 2021 - Washington State Wines - Friday Steak Night (Bobby Van's Park Ave): Deep ruby in color. Blackberry, violet, roasted pepper, crushed gravel, caramel, cassis and cocoa. Drying palate, full bodied, medium acidity, high tannin, very dusty, medium plus alcohol, medium plus extract. It wraps up with a chalky long finish. Still young but quite complex. This needs some more time in the cellar to tame those tannins and develop some tertiaries IMHO. I'd lay it down for 5-10 years.
