February 22, 2024 - better to keep a few more years, definitely still some heat on this one, very nice spice box and just the right amount of fruits but still a bit tannic.

February 24, 2023 - This is a gorgeous wine. Shows a lovely tension between youthful vigor and bottle-aged fruit intensity. It grows and evolves beautifully, revealing serious structure and a candied edge to notes of cherries, mixed dark berries, fresh herbs, and leather. Lots left in the tank.

December 5, 2020 - This wine needs more time in the bottle before it truly comes into its own, but it already is proving itself to be a great value. A lovely expression of Chianti with fruit, earth, and a little spice on the finish.
