  May 9, 2024 - A closing dinner (The private room at Scott’s, Mayfair): PnP by the waiters, opened up in the glass. Nicely put-together, no sharp edges and very resolved tannins, but still perhaps a touch heavy for the fillet of halibut, olive mash.

  April 8, 2022 - The fruit in this Pomerol is not just black, but has a significant red component. That is expressed in the gentle and aromatic acidity. Tannins are well integrated and, just like the acidity, modest. The balance is correct, the complexity not impressive, the depth limited.
  It partnered nicely with our pasta with tomato sauce and tuna (the real spaghetti alla bolognese) quite well, revealing more quality than it does on its own. Still, for me not a 90+ rating wine.

  March 12, 2022 - Second wine, fun to drink but nothing special. Deep ruby. Black fruits. Powerful, medium finish, no intensity and no complexity. It seems not so well concentrated and balanced.
