February 18, 2024 - From the estate vineyard on the Hill of Pugnane in Castiglione Falletto, straddling the border with Monforte. Exquisite bouquet of orange and cherries. Medium bodied with tight tannins and nice line of acidity. My first experience with this producer and very good on all accounts.

June 25, 2021 - Appearance: pale ruby.
Nose: medium intensity; aromas of red cherry, red date, dry red roses, orange peel, fresh red apple (pink lady), persimmon, licorice, subtle tar. It’s developing.
Palate: dry, high acidity, high structural tannins, high alcohol, medium plus body, medium plus flavour intensity, some savoury notes come through, medium plus finish.
Overall, it’s a very good wine. Can drink now, has potential for further ageing.
Charming perfume open up in decanter after 6 hours. Structural tannins coated the mouth with some lovely almond, red fruits and savoury characters. Great with San Daniel prosciutto!1 person found this helpful Comment
