April 10, 2020 - An interesting orange hue to the wine. Dry and light, went well with some sticky-sweet ribs to break things up. Novelty of an Azorian wine was fun.

May 23, 2019 - A wine dinner compèred by Douglas Blyde (London): Very saline on the sides and the finish. Energetic. Deep orangey-pink, darker. Orangy taste, too. Fruit, exhaust fumes, ozone, sea. Apparently this was the only bottle available in the UK (for now).

June 21, 2018 - Couldn't resist buying at the wine shop up the street from our Brooklyn hotel. Equal portions of 4 Portugese reds, only one that I know. Made on the Azores. Clear persimmon color with tart red fruit and decent acid finish. Only 12% alcohol, nice on a warm NYC afternoon.
