July 1, 2022 - Nose is quite discrete but does show good quality mature dark berries and spices. Goes again on the palate combined with ceder. Palate has also good synergy of the Marlot and Cab. Excellent integrated and balanced medium acid and tannins which carries the wine. Drink now.

August 10, 2020 - PnP and slow-oxed for 2-1/2 hours prior to dinner. Balanced and pleasant enough but lacking some mid palate depth right where needed. Said to be 56% cab & 44% merlot. Not a screaming value at $21. Kind of expected a bit more coming from Beychevelle but, its from Haut-Medoc not, St Julien fruit. 13.5% alc

July 12, 2020 - Medium good. Nose is fairly good. Still has the typical French balance. Kind of acidic, flavor is muted. But better balance than some french ones though
