  April 30, 2017 - Spanish Wines (Liz's House): Thanks to the host for sharing this old sherry. The nose on this wine is a janitor's closet, with fungus and volatile chemicals. The palate is nothing like that, caramel, rich toffee, spice. Quite sweet, this is dessert in a glass. There is enough acidity for balance. The palate had great complexity, and a treat to drink a wine from this year.

  October 18, 2015 - I loved this wine. Dark, dark red in color and crazy viscous. Caramel, raisins, and coffee throughout. Basically, it's your creme brûlée and coffee all in one bottle.
