November 17, 2023 - Muted until it has had 3.5 hours in the decanter then it starts to get interesting.
An earthiness emerges with fresh strata of cloves, dark brambly fruit and spice. Somehow rich Christmas cake is evoked on the finish.

July 21, 2023 - Dark purple in the glass. Nose of blue fruit and a hint of violet, maybe a little menthol. Wild and wooly wine, better as it opened up. Absolutely terrific with grilled NY strip.

March 4, 2023 - Bloody red fruited wine. Dense, some dry tannins. Youthful, a touch flat. Big on extraction but not much character at this stage. Could still develop over the next decade. Didn’t excite me at all. Not my style of wine.
