March 18, 2009 - Garnet, a bit of orange on the rim. Hot nose. Fruit and mineral, but also alcohol. Tasted at Arnie Millan's Bordeaux Round Table at Esquin. Due to pourer's mistake, tasted twice during the evening, consistent notes. Wine was double-decanted.

August 9, 2008 - Light ruby color and a very nice nose of hot stones, minerals, leaves and earth, black currents-well integrated! A bit tight at first on the palette but after 1/2 hour the fruit came forward, warm and dense but with a very firm backbone and tight finish. Still a little out of balance as it finishes with a good dose of tight tannins, this could use a little more time to even out-but it is close.
