February 24, 2020 - An excellent bottle today with smoked salmon canapés. And now being bin-ended by my dealer at ~US$12.5

November 25, 2019 - Pinot Gris/Grigio that's getting old should be a no-no, but somehow this works for me. It's quite heavily oaked (by European, not Californian standards) and for me it works best when at something like cellar temperature, not heavily chilled. There's a nice buttery nose, and on the palate a decent mix of fruit, oak and acidity, giving it a nice bite and stopping it from being cloying.

But the temperature is quite important: cellar temperature is good, but room temperature starts to get a bit acidic and unbalanced.

For me it's OK value at ~US$15-17 and works with a variety of foods.

January 16, 2017 - New Zealand London Annual Trade Tasting (Lindley Hall, Royal Horticultural Halls): Ripe tropical fruit, a touch of yeast, the palate shows enough acidity, med body, lemon, lime, med to long finish. Would be nice to have on its own, drink now
