  May 8, 2021 - Part of a virtual wine tasting. Light straw color. Nose is more restrained than I would expect. Fruit is more pear, apple and nutty tones with an underlying wet stone. The palate is off dry with light fruit, nice minerality and acid structure. Not up to the typical Selbach-Oster Kabinetts.

  April 24, 2021 - Ok, so we can definitely see the Saar in this - light and austere in the nose with lots of minerals, shy citric fruit, slate and a bit of white florals. Palate is Feinherb if not towards Trocken. Oh my - quite austere with slate and minerals and not much fruit. A touch of lime pith and lime rind. Finish shows a slight pulse of lime fruit and then the minerals return. Not my favorite. Nose - 4.5/6, Palate - 4/6, Finish - 4.5/6, Je ne Sais Quoi - 0.5/2 = 13.5/20.

  May 22, 2020 - One of the best QPR Kabinett I’ve had ($16 US!). Bought few more and will probably get few more after that. Good amount of acid and perfect amount of sugar to my liking.
