September 7, 2019 - Allowed to breathe in glass one hour. Clear deep oxblood-rust-brick red color. Bouquet of dried and fresh red and black fruits and their liqueurs, cigar tobacco, fennel, hints of mud flats, marsh, oyster shells. Similar on the palate, balanced, seamless, medium-full body. Improved with several hours of air. Very pleasant surprise.

September 2, 2013 - Allowed to breathe in glass 30 minutes before tasting. Clear garnet-ruby with pink meniscus. Bouquet of green tobacco, eucalyptus, red currant paste, red plums, beef jus. Similar on the palate, balanced and elegant, with medium body and finish. The bouquet improved with air, becoming fresher with notes of graphite and mint along with the nice red fruit.

April 14, 2007 - I realize this is a cheap wine anyway but I waited too long. The wine was spent. Developed that rancid raisen taste that occurs when a wine is too old. Unfortunately I have 8 more to pour down the drain.
