May 1, 2017 - Tart cherries and bell pepper early on, then it morphed into a more traditional Bordeaux blend. I agree that i was at its most interesting straight out of the bottle. Its an alluring wine, glad i got to experience it...

December 27, 2016 - I found this actually showed best right out of the bottle and after maybe a quick 30min decant. Tart red fruit, leather, cigar box, and very smooth tannins. Good acidity and life too. However I found that this went a bit soft with additional air and the verve sort of had the volume turned down on it after an hour or two. Nice pair with some roast chicken all the same.

December 11, 2016 - Drinking beautifully now. Decanted for 1.5 hours. Rich and luscious like a fine Bordeaux. Delivering cherries, dark berries, pencil shavings, current, leathers, and a touch of tar with a plush silky mouth feel. Great wine.
