August 16, 2021 - Just a baby. Ultra concentrated. 1/3 new oak. Roses, nutmeg, cherry, cherry blossom, iron and beef blood. Tannin med+. Finishes very long. Don't touch this for another 5-10 years.

June 27, 2018 - Domaine Castagnier Cellar Visit and Tasting (Day 4, Visit 3) (Morey St.-Denis): Barrel tasting at the domaine. ML almost complete. some faint aromatic reduction. Black and red cherry with very precise, linear character showing mineral textures. Seems simple to start, more complex already on finish. Very good potential.
