January 15, 2022 - The CsD from Castagnier has impressed me consistently in recent years. This here is a great bottle as well. Very good density and polished tannins. aromas of whole cluster mix with earhty elements, red current and some blue fruit as well. It is very young, I opened this bottle more for curiosity than hedonistic purposes. Wait till 2027 before opening this to have the full experience. 94-95

June 27, 2018 - Domaine Castagnier Cellar Visit and Tasting (Day 4, Visit 3) (Morey St.-Denis): Barrel tasting at the domaine. Bigger and dense vs Clos de la Roche. Richer black fruits showcasing intense savory spice, with just as much interesting nuance on finish. Very good+ potential.
