January 28, 2024 - Black currant, black cherries, earth, stables/stall, black peppar, smokey, vegetable, dry, medium body, ruby, medium alcohol, high acidity, medium tannins, medium plus intensitet, long finish,
Drink now but can keep for some more years

April 14, 2023 - Initially lots of bitter almonds, and a hint of barnyard which breathed away. Sour cherries/raspberries, wet gravel, wet leaves and unidentified vegetabilia. Probably in a very good drinking spot. Quaffable.

September 26, 2022 - This wine seems to need a lot of air. Which makes me also think that it can (and perhaps should) cellar longer than these drinking dates suggest. I'm going to keep some longer and see what happens, but if drinking now, a decant one or two hours before drinking is very well served.

June 11, 2022 - Russk. Mila brought to CDC at Pablo's. Blind and from the first sniff I knew it was Loire CF. Later guessed Chinon 2017. I agree with the previous reviewer in most points. Get some.

October 3, 2021 - While I’ve been quite unimpressed with the entry level “Cuisine de ma mère” cuvée, this is something completely different. A much more elegant style with some complexity. The nose is just lovely with abundant dark fruit, ripe bell pepper, leather, violets and just a hint of brett. It’s more subdued on the palate, medium bodied, nice dark tart fruit and bell pepper, somewhat overpowered by a still grippy tannic structure and a powdery finish. Well on its way, but needs some more cellar time to shine. I only have one more bottle, so I’ll try to hold it for at least 3-5 years, but I wouldn’t be surprised if this wine is still drinking nicely at the end of this decade.
